Lottery Searching for $2.78 Million Wild Card
Winner,
Winning Ticket Sold in Pocatello
Boise
-
The search is on for the person holding the $2.78
million winning ticket from the Idaho Lottery’s Wild
Card draw last Saturday night.
Lottery Officials confirmed today the winning
ticket was sold in Pocatello.
The winning numbers from Saturday night’s
draw were 02, 15, 18, 19, 26 and the Wild Card was
the ace of spades.
“To ensure the integrity of our game, to protect our
players and our retailers, we will not be releasing
the winning store location prior to the winner
presenting their ticket for payment,” stated Jeff
Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director.
The Idaho Lottery has received no phone calls from
any player claiming to hold the winning ticket or
making inquiries about the ticket.
“With the Fourth of July holiday and many people
traveling, it is possible the winner has no idea
they are holding a ticket worth close to $3
million,” added Anderson. “We are encouraging our
players in the Pocatello area to carefully check
their tickets from last Saturday night’s draw.”
The winner has until approximately December 27, 2008
to claim their prize from Lottery Headquarters in
Boise. Also, as a state agency, the Idaho Lottery
offices will be closed on Wednesday to celebrate the
Fourth of July.
All players are also encouraged to sign their
tickets prior to submitting them for payment.
Inquiries regarding the winning ticket can be made
by calling 1-208-336-2400 or by e-mailing the
Lottery at info@idaholottery.com.
